Leave Rules

  • Cent percent attendance is expected from each pupil.
  • The pupil should have a minimum attendance of 95%.
  • The pupil should be present on all days, especially on closing and re-opening dates of vacations. If a pupil absents himself/ herself on both the closing and re-opening dates of any vacation, the entire holiday period will be reckoned as absence and suitable action will be taken by the school authorities.
  • Absence for 10 days continuously without informing the school authorities, will lead to the removal of the student’s name from the rolls.
  • If a pupil wants to avail a leave, a leave letter, signed by the pupil and encounter signed by the parent should be submitted to the principal.
  • If leave has to be availed due to unforeseen circumstances, the leave letter should be submitted on the day the leave is required.
  • If the above two procedures are not followed, the pupil should bring his/her parent along with the leave letter.
  • If the leave period exceeds more than three days a medical certificate obtained from the registered Medical Practitioner should be produced in the presence of the parents.
  • If there is any long absence, the parent should accompany the pupil to the school to explain the reason for the long leave.
